There was a God sized hole in my heart that only the true, living God could fill.

I had reached the point of my journey where I had given up on religion and became athieist.
I gave up on my religious journey,
that is when something finally happened.

It all started in the bathroom at the hospital.
My wife was 4 months pregnant with my son Isaiah and she began to have problems.
We thought she was going to miscarry my son. This thought frightened me.
I began to realize how useless my life was. My son was going to die and there
was nothing I could do about it.
In desperation I cried out to someone I didnt even believe in.
Through the tears that streamed down my face I prayed:

"God, I know I've messed up alot. Every promise I have ever made to you I failed.
I really want to know you but it all seems so unreal.
I know I dont deserve this, but if you can give me one more try, I promise I won't let you down.
Please save my son, I will give you my life, what is left of it.
Just reveal to me who you are...."

When I walked back into my wifes hospital room, God did just that.

Joy like I hadn't felt in a long time came to me.
That night I prayed again, "God, who are you?"
Sounds like a stupid question but the answer changed my life forever.
The only book I was able to find that night was a bible.
When I had finished hours of reading about Jesus Christ and how much he loved me
and how he gave his life for my sins, I made a decision to serve him.

He gave me what I had been looking for all this time.
He can do the same for you.
